They blasted into their set with crushing double kick drum, dual solos, pounding bass lines and face melting vocals! Mosh pits were aplenty and so were the compliments flying around about the band. Their merch table was reminiscent of a Beatles concert, I imagine they took away a nice little profit that night as well. The band as a whole were excellent, the music was tight. Formed from the ashes of Relentless and members of Seventh Circle, SemperFi got together in September 2008 in the Scottish city of Aberdeen. Since then they have played various gigs across the North-East of Scotland and consequently received a warm and positive reception from many. Fusing the metal styling of such bands as Metallica, Machine Head and Lamb of God - along with an array of other various acts - SemperFi have created their own unique metal sound that differs greatly from current heavy metal acts. After recording a rough demo in their early stages, SemperFi spent a great deal of time in the summer months of 2009 recording their debut EP “The Abyss”.
With a strong determination and natural passion for music, SemperFi are ready to gig across the UK and beyond…

Hey Semperfi! U dudes are awesome! Nah, ure EP stuff is pretty imense. Ure sense of melody and all ure harmonies and stuff is envious. I like the clean acoustic stuff as well and how it merges in with the heavy guitar tones. It's good stuff. And the drums are pretty skillfull! Hope you like our stuff too an would appreciate any feedback on our stuff if you can spare the time. Although our recordings are pretty basic right now. Weve got a new bassist now and hoping to recruit a singer so hopefully with a bit of practise we'll get some first gigs in soonish! Lookin forward too it immensley. Catch u guys later! Rock on dudes!
We'll be moving down to Perth as of Monday. Although judging by the way the mixes are sounding at the moment, it may not be necessary to re-record the bass parts! Its entirely up to you, but we'll let you know when we have 3 rough mixes, and you can let us know if any changes are required :)
