Oh so many people and in oh so many different ways. So many that I will even blog about them from time to give them proper respect and adoration.
Neye Benziyor?
A singer-songwriter cellist. What's that, you ask? Check out these videos to get an idea of what I'm talking about.
Here's a video of a song called "It Ain't Over", written in honor of President Obama's historic 2008 election race. Jason "Ace" Gonzalez on guitar, Jessica Fagre on bass, and Deacon on drums as The Fateful Indiscretions, premiering this song live at Room 5 in Los Angeles, Feb. 15, 2008.

I'm a cellist living in Southern California who has been playing the cello in all different types of ensembles and bands for many moons trying to prove that it is the most versatile, if not the greatest, instrument ever created (as if you didn't already know that). I finished my first solo album, "Wabi Sabi", in 2007 and just followed that up with the release of my second album, "The Miracle Mile", on DuckHole Records (available on Amazon.com, Borders.com, iTunes and everyone's favorite, CD Baby.com).
With the albums finished, I'm back to playing live as much as possible, writing new material, and continuing to look for new musical challenges and opportunities. Feel free to contact me if you are looking to book or trade shows or if you need a cellist on your recordings (everything goes better with cello).
Also, feel free to check out my blog entries for a little diversion. Thanks!

I wanted to thank you for your support and let you know that my new album "Seven" is available for pre-order at http://www.siavashseven.com. I also have new song samples up on my myspace page.
That tid bit you shared w/me is waaaaaay cool. I knew I liked you for more than just your music talent! Here's the pic from that night w/Mr. David "Dawg" Grisman & yours truly. I have since changed my hair color back to the blonde you knew before. Stay sweet & stay in touch! Peace!
Hi Semyon! How are you? I went to see David Grisman & John Sebatian in Scottsdale, AZ. the other night & thought that you would fit right in w/those 2 talented men. My next thought was that you fit right in by yourself! I still listen to you music quite often. I hope all is well w/you. Oh ya, I colored my hair black too. Just for fun! Your looking very well, as usual. Take care & lemme know how your doing when you get a chance! Peace!
