Senani is a singer/songwriter based in Sydney, Australia and is currently doing the live circuit in sydney clubs/venues with her 4 piece Funk/jazz outfit.
With over 15 years experience in the live music industry- including Tv, radio, and live performances, Senani has put together a band of exceptionally talented musicians to create a unique and fresh sound. With elements of soul, funk and jazz fused to create an ambient but funky mood, the band is making waves in the local Sydney music scene. The band has played in venues such as The Metro, Ruby Rabbit, Monkey Bar, Harbourview Hotel, Civic Hotel and other local clubs in recent times.
Combining soulful, smooth vocals from the lead singer, Senani and intricate, powerful guitar riffs from Mark (guitarist), slapping bass rhythms from Ty and cool funk beats from Tim, the band gives an unforgettable performance each time.
Senani and the band has received praising reviews in the drum media, 3D world, Sydney Morning Herald and FM radio (Australia- wide).
