Send draws equal inspiration from IDM and DJ culture, gamelan, funk, 20th century minimalism, and ambient music. During the improvisational process, send strives to flow with the changing energies of a set, expressing the latent possibilities of the moment while creating a piece that is a cohesive whole. The music feeds on the energy of seemingly disparate elements and, like nature, seeks the emergent pattern, which brings the underlying form into focus.
