Based in Paris, Etienne start djing in 1997, in many directions as funk, rock, drum & bass, house (vocal, deep, tribal, progressive, electro) and trance (progressive & psychedelic). He became resident djs in pubs (hide out, bar three and more), and later playing in psychedelic trance (gibus club resident) and house scene.
Influenced by many artists like Masters at Work, Kaskade, D Formation in his djs sets, he was a montera music dj from 2003 to 2005, some gigs at Nirvana Lounge in Paris, City Vox party in Marseille, Acapulco in Calvi (Corsica) with Ariel Wizman, Bed Supperclub in Bangkok (Thailand) with Edmundo Carneiro (percussionist of St Germain), and more...
Since 2005 he oriented his musical sets, influenced by djs like Hernan Cattaneo or Kasey Taylor, in a progressive house mood, a style more deeply and trancy. And later changed in a techno & electro/house mood. It depends of the time & crowd.
His friends Charles Michaud (Triptych) & Vincent Courcot (Motion) from Solead, band of many releases (as on citizen, renaissance, iboga, vapour, beef, tribal vision), picked him in Tree Hand Music team to represent his musical influences in the label, with a touch of groove and deeper melodies...
Beside thoses influences, he plays also psychedelic trance as international dj, Senix from Turbo Trance Records since 2004.
Started with technics sl 1210 mk2 in 1997, he bought his first psychedelic LP's, performed at friends places to finally became resident dj in Gibus Club (Paris) in 2001 where he turned his mixes from vinyls to cds, to get freshiest tracks.
During the same year he was also resident dj in the first french psychedelic web radio, a new concept with a webcam live mix. Joined the Analogic Team crew from 2002 to 2004, an association to promote the psychedelic culture through varied events.
Each dj Senix performances always gets positive feedbacks, his work on turnables with an evolutive taste, an harmonic mixing with technical skills made him one of the best dj in morning full-on style. That's why he finally played in parties & festivals in Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Germany, France...Side of big names as Antidote, Talamasca, Infected Mushroom, Oforia, Triptych, Transwave, Absolum, Nomad, Silicon Sound, Polaris, L Elf, Dado, Edoardo, Luke Slater, Francesco Farfa and many more...
About production, he has collaborated as featuring on a Talamasca track, released on Arcadia Music Japan in 2002 (VA - Positive) & Phonokol Records in 2003 (VA - Raveolution).
He also be invited on 2 Triptych's tracks, the first " Own Desire " released on Triptych album " Electrology " in 2005 on TTR, and on Mahogany (VA - Exotica), and a 2nd track called " Hot Track " released on his own compilation " Accelerator 4.0 " out in march 2007 on TTR. It appeared great names on it, such as Manmademan, GBU, Tranan, Triptych, Shanti, Silicon Sound, Elec 3 to name a few...This compilation showed exacltly his fine taste with a coherent quality tracklist, a sure value from this inescapable dj.
