Senogul es un grupo instrumental nacido en Asturias en 2002. Inicialmente comenzaron versionando temas clasicos del prog. Es posible encontrar tango mezclado con una fuga barroca, rock andaluz, post-rock mezclado con blues, funky, y todo en ocasiones con un toque inconfundiblemente mediterraneo. Tras la autoedicion de su trabajo "Transitos" en 2005, con material propio, el grupo saca su primer album en Mayo de 2007 con el sello chileno "Mylodon Records" especializado en musica progresiva y de vanguardia, y la distribucion en Europa de "Musea Records". El disco recibe muy buenas críticas, llegando incluso a formar parte de algunos estudios bibliográficos. Durante el resto del año y gran parte de 2008 el grupo se dedica a dar varios conciertos, destacando su paso por la primera edición del Madrid Art Music Festival junto a otras agrupaciones como Baraka, Kotebel o los legendarios Trettioariga Krigett.
En Febrero de 2009 sale su nuevo trabajo, "Concierto de Evocación Sonora para Conjunto Instrumental", una extensa y ambiciosa obra dividida en nueve movimientos. En este trabajo, editado por margen Records, el grupo evoluciona por derroteros más cercanos a la fusión con raíces étnicas, la improvisación abierta y la integración de elementos naturales en su mezcla.

Senogul is an instrumental band born in Asturias in 2002. Initially they begun playing covers of classic prog themes. In their style it is possible to find tango mixed with a baroque fugue, andalusian rock, post-rock mixed with blues, funky, all mixed with a remarkable mediterranean touch. After the release of "Transitos", their auto-edited work from 2005 with their first own compositions, the group released their first instrumental album in May 2007, under the Chilean label "Mylodon Records", specialised in progressive and avant-garde music, with European distribution by "Musea Records". The album received very positive reviews, being included in some bibliographic publications. During the rest of the year and the beginning of 2008 Senogul focused on touring, playing along with bands like Baraka, Kotebel or the legendaries Trettioariga Krigett.
On March 2009 they released their new album, "Aural Impressions Concert for Instrumental Ensemble", an extense and ambitious opus divided in nine movements. In this work, released by Margen Records, the group's evolution has led them to a musical style more close to fusion with ethnic roots, free improvisation and the integration of natural elements.
