In celebration of International Women's Day, a group of female artists and activists are creating an event that promotes and supports a women's artistic movement on March 8 in Houston.
This is an open call to artists and performers interested in contributing to an event portraying women's experiences and building a vision of hope for the future.
Women have the natural power and potential to radically change our society, but still face unnatural obstacles which impede the expressive process.
We are in need of women from diverse backgrounds and styles to assist with planning and contribute art. We are also searching for sponsors and a venue. Please forward this call to any female visual artists, dancers, musicians, film-makers, poets, activists, or business owners who may be interested in participating.
