André Soares starts his adventure as a dj in 1998 playing in several bars around Lisbon and also at some events, but only after four years, his alter ego Señor Pelota is born. Today he sees himself has a promoter of advanced music, through sets where he explores different languages from electro, minimal, techno, acid house, digital disco to punk-funk. He surprise the audience because Senor Pelota has no boundaries, any kind of music can land on his turntable as long as it makes you dance and feel good.
Señor Pelota is an obsessive persecutor of new tendencies never forgeting the oldschool, making fusions that reinvent music of tomorrow. He tries to find the perfect symbiosis to make people have fun and loose their heads, Promoting good music but never forgetting the "club culture".
At the moment, Señor Pelota is responsible for the music alignment of Bar do Bruno (bardobruno.com),a popular beach club in Baleal/Peniche. He also does a monthly appearance at Lounge bar, intituled “So Freshhhhh!”, where he invites new dj talents to play with him all night long.
He is involved in several musical projects like:the collective F.R.E.I.M.A. from Porto, the collective “Music Mob dj..s” with dj Vahagn associeted to the label Music Mob and “Glam Slam Dance” in partnership with dj Mário Valente, which in May 2007 they headlined the Kubik stage and Radio Soulwax stage at the CREAMFIELDS Festival in Lisbon.
He has spread his peculiar sets in famous clubs: Club 13 (Barcelona), Lux, Op Art, Clube Mercado, Fragil, Cabaret Maxime, Incógnito (Lisboa), Pitch, Plano B, Industria, Maus Hábitos (Porto), Hard Club (Gaia), Marginal (Funchal), Clinic (Alcobaça), Budha Club (Povoa do Varzim), Tamariz (Estoril), Clube da praia (Zambujeira do mar), Horta da Fonte (Cartaxo), T Club (Vilamora), etc…
And he also played with national and international music celebrities like Spektrum, Digitalism, Soul Wax, Erol Alkan, Tiefschwarz, 2 Many Dj's, M.A.N.D.Y. Idjut Boys, Prins Thomas, Muallem, Who Made Who, Chloe, Sasse a.k.a.
