SENSE
Sense is born Daniël Tiuri Wils on a Sunday in the summer of 1985. The first four years of his life he moves around the Netherlands in a caravan, until he and his family settle in a houseboat in Amsterdam.
Here he is raised in a mystical tradition, no longer too common for European people. He also travels a lot in his younger years, mainly through South-East Asia and Northern Africa.
From a young age, a strong sense of independence and a yearning for self expression could be felt with him. Making his first comic books at age seven and setting up various little companies before ever turning eightteen.
In the year 2000 he finds music. After developing his technique, unique sound and sense of harmony for five years, he founds a number of groups:

The first, a collaboration between three young Dutch producer: Arts the beatdoctor, Sense and STW would later be known as: TheQ4. The (at the time four men) instrumental hip-hop group is founded in a sleazy, dark bar in Amsterdam during the fall of 2005.
The cinematic half-instrumental double album debut 'Sound Surroundings' is the result of their collective effort and is to be released early november on Project: Mooncircle. The record features appearances by Pax (Kyteman), Unorthadox (Kyteman), BLS (Shahmen), Terryman (C-Mon & Kypski) and flamenco singer Curra Suarez.

In 2006 he started working with MC/Singer and long time friend Esperanza. Music which is about 'realigning'; With ourselves and with nature.
This past summer Esperanza and Sense where invited to be part of the Rooms of Red Bull in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. Where within the period of one month they made new songs, worked with various artists, developed a themesong for Red Bull and opened the project to press and public with a live show.

In the same year he started working on the 'Rise&Shine' record together with Sotu the Traveler.

In 2007 BLS came to the Netherlands to interview Sense for the American hip-hop documentary ‘Beats, Rhymes & Borders’. He had found in Sense's beats what he had been looking for all this time. He returned later in the summer and Shahmen was formed. They then began their journey, which led them through Africa and South America and back to Amsterdam, while writing/composing and recording their material. Unorthadox is part of this pack.
