About me:
Now that I've graduated, I actually have a job, woo! I work at a group home for severely emotionally disturbed children and adolescents. It's a great job, and definitely never boring! hahaha
I also do American Kenpo Karate, which keeps me sane. Something about hitting people makes it a great stress reliever. =P (Although, I seem to manage to hurt myself more than I hurt others...)
I live in Glendale, California (ish) with my 4 cats (yeah, I know, I'm a crazy cat lady) and my boyfriend. I promise you, I'm not hoarding cats or anything (or boyfriends, even), I'm just a sucker. I could never say no to a starving animal begging to take it home (good thing I don't have a bigger place, I guess).
I know that my interests don't seem all that intellectual, but if I'm reading or watching a movie for fun, I want something entertaining. I do read psychology textbooks for fun, but that's just because I'm kind of weird. You'll probably notice that I like reading gory serial killer books. No, I'm not reading for tips, I just find the psychology behind it facinating.
I'm happy to learn about any subject, from calculus to the mythology of ancient Mesopotamia, but I must admit that I know more about psychology (big surprise) and useless pop culture than I'd like to admit. I watch far too much Forensic Files and Mythbusters.
Who I'd like to meet: Not random people. Well, let me clarify that. I don't mind meeting random people, but I sure do hate it when random people ask to friend me. For biscuit's sake, at least send me a message first and say who you are and maybe why you want to add me. I'm not one to add people just so they can lengthen their friends list, but I'm okay with talking to people.
Oh, and I want to meet Cookie Monster. I love cookies. And ninjas.
I'm doing good, just working and so on...going up to New York in June, pretty excited about that. Also doing a little house hunting..but that's more frustrating than good. lol How are all your kittys?
hey girl! I'm pretty sure, that we can get together one of those days, i know i may be going out of state for a few days, but not sure on which ones yet. so, i'll def let you know something! how are you doing?
Happy Belated Birthday! I haven't been on myspace for awhile and now I have a lot of catching up to do. Just wanted to make your birthday last the whole month! Kisses! Kisses! Kisses! Sable sends his slobbery wet kisses too!
Hey chica! How are you? Glad you figured out a method. Cats are tricky that's for sure. I have one that you have to wrap up in a towel, hold her down with your body, and use a pill popper with. She HATES pills. Then, after all that hard work I have to help clean her drool. hah, she just sits there and foams. :P
If you could get someone to scruff her that may help also. Then you just squirt the solution into her ear canal, and massage at the base of the ear, you should hear a "squishy" sound. She'll still shake her head, but it'll be deep in the ear canal, it takes a few weeks for ear infections to clear up. :)
