STEPH MAG was born at Guéret (Fr) on June 15th 1970. Rock on music since very young by is musician father, he began to learned drums and piano on music school. His career in the DJ world began when he played under local private party for a simple light-jockey at 14 years old. After several months, he decided to become a DJ and he worked a lot for it and started to perform in a little party also replaced some DJ under several club. Until one day on 1989 he obtained a residence in a club (Le Monos) for 3 years with many different style of sound (new wave, funky and house music).
And in 1991 he obtained a residence on famous club (La Prade) where he impose his proper style of sound (techno and trance music) and he stayed for 6 years and at the same time he also performed on electronic party in France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Italy. He is recognized by his very exceptional mix. He obtained his technique from his beginning on club where he tried to play a maximum of records in the minimum of time.
Steph Mag has become an international artist when he signed on US label (Starbaby records). After this he played on two DJ tour in USA, the first one in 1998 (north of America) and the second one in 2000 (south of America).
He signed on 2002 with another label M.A.L Prod Paris with the status of DJ producer and on 2006 he opened booking DJ Senshimix where he played on different party in France with several other DJ whose involved in Senshimix.
He has now landed up in Paris with a residency at Le Patio, Modjo and on radio RPG. He performed on DJ tour Asia in 2008 (Bangkok, Koh samui, Jakarta).
Steph Mag has also expanded his involvement in the music scene by becoming Director of Senshimix Paris (Bandung, Indonesia). Senshimix Paris is a booking agency, organization of Senshimix party, labels recording, Meeting point coffee and Dj’s school. During these years he has played with famous DJ such as: Laurent Garnier, Liza ‘N Eliaz, Dan Curtin, Titonton Duvante, John Thomas, Manu le malin, Gene Farris, Jack de Marseille, Fabrice Lig. At this time Steph Mag plays Progressive Techno and Techno minimal and he’s using special techniques mix during his set. Good travel!!!
