Josh Groban, Rascal Flatts, The Jonas Brothers, James Blunt, Duffy, Natasha Bedingfield. I sang in a concert choir in southern California when I was in college. The next year I was in school in San Francisco, and the choir came up to sing in San Quentin Prison. They picked my roommate and I up so we could sing with them. The inmates loved our concert, especially when the great basso voice of a man, who later appeared with Pearl Bailey in Porgy and Bess on Broadway and was in Roots, sang Freedom! That pretty much brought down the house. We also stood in the infamous Green Room, where executions were held. It was a sobering experience.
Movies
So little time for movies, but will see Ironman and Indiana Jones. Loved Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, and Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix.
Television
Jay Leno's The Tonight Show - laughter's healthy in a troubled world. I'm sick of reality shows & reruns, but I follow Dancing with the Stars. (I'm probably the only American who doesn't watch American Idol.)
