Rock alternative band settled down in about 20 Kilometers of Barcelona. At the beginning of year 2003 it is begun to form project SEN with musicians already experienced in different musical and different styles formation, some of them of known name in the region. The main idea is to form a musical group of alternative style, where atmospheric sounds with progressive rates and letters with a certain touch of melancholy without stopping are mixed being realistic. Passed a year and with the group already in active-duty leaves the band ,the bass Jesus Alvarez and begins a period of test in which they offer themselves to the band different bass, until the present one.
Mr. Pirs. With this new incorporation the sound of the group becomes more aggressive and defined, Pirs was a great draftee. The moment of SEN creativity this in its apogee and this is reflected in the great one I number of performances that the group begins to make by all the region of Barcelona. At the beginning of the effective year and after testing next to 3 aspirings, Sergio, a boy of L'hospitalet de Llobregat and that already from the first moment fits to the perfeción in as much musical band as personally. The arrival of Sergio, the group ends to define its style thanks to its personnel and characteristic forms to sing. Of notes to emphasize from the incorporation of the new voice it is the change of language in his letters. The style that has taken the group once consolidated all its parts overcomes mainly to English music, since it is music that but listen to the own components of SEN and therefore it is his greater influence.
El proyecto SEN empieza después de pasar por diversas formaciones y cambios de estilo con la llegada de Sergio, voz actual y que le da definitivamente el sonido y carácter que buscábamos. Con Sergio, el sonido de nuestra música gira de manera lógica hacia esos grupos que hemos escuchado desde siempre y que tanto nos gustan y admiramos como Depeche Mode, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, David Bowie, Nick Cave o Joy Division, todo esto mezclado con las influencias inevitables de grupos más cercanos en el tiempo como el movimiento “grunge” o “brit pop”, ya sean Nirvana, Suede, Pearl Jam, Blur o Radiohead. De todos estas influencias nace el sonido SEN. Esa mezcla hace que cada persona que escucha a SEN tenga una visión diferente pero al mismo tiempo atractiva de nuestro sonido. Esa es una de nuestras características y una de las cosas que más nos atrae a la hora de componer, trabajar y seguir adelante... ser simplemente, SEN. En una misma canción se pueden encontrar influencias de muchos grupos y muchos estilos, de ahí nuestra seña de identidad y que SEN, tenga un sonido propio y particular. Una prueba de que nuestro sonido es consistente, y cada vez más atractivo esta en la rapidez con que hemos ido trabajando ya que en poco más de 2 años hemos compartido escenario con bandas como Delorean, Half Foot Outside, Nothink, Daniel el higiénico, Praga y los australianos Heligoland o teloneando al sueco Jay Jay Johanson en España. También hemos tenido la oportunidad de grabar 2 maquetas totalmente autoproducidas y financiadas, que nos han servido para presentar nuestro trabajo a discográficas y promotoras. Durante el verano de 2007 estuvimos grabando nuestro primer disco, que se puede descargar de forma totalmente gratuita desde nuestra web y desde nuestro myspace.
También podemos destacar que durante estos 2 años hemos podido pisar escenarios como Sala Mephisto (Bcn), Sala Salamandra 1 y 2 (Hospitalet), Plegatin Club (Girona), Festival FM Bigues (Bigues i Riells) La Capsa (Prat de Llobregat), El Molí (La Roca del Valles), Sala Clap (Mataró) o Sala Becool (Bcn) entre muchas otras.
