Ocassionally... a pre-recorded acoustic guitar or a drums, keys and bass mix; necessary to fill out our sound. Trust me you'll love it.

Jesse Lee, P. T. James, and I performed as a trio known as "DreamPool" - basically an outlet to perform live. We had 30 songs; One written by P.T. James and the other a collaberation effort. The rest was C.A. music.
See the below Video of us performing... Stop the music player (top right) and start this video below - live 12/30/07; rough footage and sound!!
"What You Gonna Do" - recorded on Camcorder.
Here's a professional video with a wonderful message!!

Hi everyone I'm Doug "Angel" Luna, I've been working very hard (since 1992) to record my products, write great songs and basically bust my *ss for what I love to do!
As of late, I've been playing the best of my music unplugged with Jesse Lee of the "Jesse Lee Project"...it's been very diffucult to find the right bassist and drummer so we continue on as a duo. We always have a blast... actually we're doing quite well for ourselves and make friends everywhere we go.
I've been promoting us as "Corporate Angel - The Dynamic Duo"!! So do me/us a favor, discover C.A. for yourself by giving my songs on this page (and elsewhere on the net) - a listen!!! I assure you - ...you'll absolutely find something to enjoy!! Then come see us "live" around the town!!!
*FYI: Jesse Lee almost always pulls out his guitar and does a set - so expect something from him as well!!!
...SPREAD THE WORD!!!
Thanks,
Douglas S Luna
"Left Behind - Live 8/23/08" (a camera video; WOW, not bad!!! Thanks K and Joe)
"Season's Change" (a video "Dukes of Hazzard's Tribute" made by a co-worker's son ; Not bad!!! Thanks Alex!!!)
BY INTENTION, YOU ARE THE ARTIST/CREATOR OF ALL THAT IS YOUR LIFE... THE CREATION YOU ARE CULTIVATING IS [YOU] AND ALL THE THINGS YOU WILL BECOME!!!
Updates, News, and Events...
Want to book "C.A. The Dynamic Duo" - for your club, party, as an opener, headliner or for just a set? Just ask and maybe we'll do it - [wink wink] !!! You'll absolutely be amazed how good we sound... yet we ask so little in return!!!
* There will be a few songs that we add a pre-recorded acoustic guitar or a pre-recorded drum, bass and keyboard mix - simply to add to the "live" performance - "ElectroAcoustic Rock Plus" - gotta love technology!!
Check for our "Upcoming Shows" - (above; top right) adding any known appearances at open mic/jam nights (check back often as details and locations change quickly). FYI: Jesse will be having "Minor Surgery" so until the end of October will be pretty much recovery time. Please be patient and we'll be back out there before you know it!!!
In closing... When given a chance, Jesse and I never disappoint the club owners, their patrons and or our fans; always putting out quality, style and original music that everyone can enjoy.
Sales? 4,853 copies of the studio products (mostly the "Luna" Cd) and over 7,123 digital singles since C.A.'s origin, it’s safe to say, "People enjoy this music !!!"

"Spell You’re Under" (8/1995)
- This, my first recording was a venture to assemble originals I had written in the late 80's early 90's while in other bands. To hopefully capture as best as I could [at that time] my intentions as a writer - as well as to hopefully offer up some guitar skills. Kudos to drummer "Dawn K." - an absolute force to be reckoned with; Unbelievable!!! I couldn’t have done it without her!!! (She even played bass on the title track!!)
"Luna"(1/1999)
- The second recording; compared to a modern day "Classic Rock" with references to the ethereal refinement and style of Pink Floyd (Winter's Mourn/Do You Want To?).
This cd was to be my personal [100%] effort at writing (*actually being able to play all the instruments except for the drums).
In the end, I recorded all guitars (except secondary acoustic tracks and the solo in "Major Mush" - P.T. James), singing all lead vocals, and 99% of the backing vocals. I was also financier, designer/photographer of the cd’s jacket and last but not least... in the studio, I was the producer with the awesome, award winning "Bill Stace" at the helm...I must have been crazy to think I could pull this whole thing off!
For me this was quite the endeavor and proved to be more than I bargained for... yet somehow the recording was completed and a band was assembled in the process; it took 3 plus years (from the writing stage) to finally play this material out live!!! Whoever said, "Money for nothin’ and chicks for free!!!" - Ouch!!!
I feel, anyone who has read this "Bio" of sorts should give at least one song [maybe even two] a listen - I think you’ll appreciate the music even more ...knowing the latter story behind the processes!
...Pick up your C.A. music today, by purchasing my above digital single tracks, or at "Garageband" (cheapest @ shows - $7.)
"CORPORATE ANGEL"
An all original "Studio/Solo Project" with one person at the helm - Douglas S. Luna. Of course that’s before others have helped out at the studio level, adding those who were/are in the "live" factions of this project!! Thanks All... you know who you are!!!
As for me, my main thing is guitar and writing [yet] because of my determination for writing lyrics and music – I’ve had to kick it up a notch by taking my intentions even further which ultimately lead me to singing (lead and backing), playing basic keyboards and bass; basically, doing whatever it took/takes to get the music out of my head and finally recorded!! It’s safe to say, "I’m driven!!" which makes for meeting a lot of wonderful musical friends ...yet sadly also makes for musical bumping of heads and falling outs.
..."Rockin’ In The Free World!!"
So is this new music? Absolutely! Ground breaking or something never done before? That’s entirely up to you the listener! It is and was simply the best I could do using my talents and the songs/bands that have influenced me.
Original Style
My personal writing genre is "Sentient Rock" ...passionate and dynamic; a blending of acoustic and electric guitars, having a climax; capable of feeling (spiritual?). Sounds a bit crazy huh? Maybe, but it’s true for me and also for a lot of people who’ve seen this project live.
------------------------------ " CORPORATE ANGEL " -------------------------
(a uniting for a common ideal... by a guiding essence - MUSIC)
C.A. started out as a result of my need to take music seriously!! Music for me was never a reason to party; it was more of a celebration and or an avenue to express my thoughts, hopes, and dreams; to freely give a little bit of myself to whomever would/may listen.
So what does one do to be taken seriously? Hm? I guess, hit the road, be true to oneself and pay the dues!!
After 16 plus years of busting a$$ in the music biz (drug free and sober 85% of the way)(31 years total) I’ve accumulated many memories both awesome and not so awesome.
I've played out everywhere imaginable, in and with many great bands/projects throughout the years, adding the many music friends and fans I’ve met along the way. WOW!!
Recording Corporate Angel's (two) Cd’s and (one) EP have been both wonderful and strenuous; tough stuff folks.
However none of these accomplished what I set out to achieve... "Music As My Career". I’ll get over it!!! (I'm not crying... I'm not crying!!! - LMAO!!)
Corporate Angel’s best achievement as a "live" act?
Playing 25 shows including 2 dates at Summerfest 1999 (July 2nd/3rd) its first 6 month’s out as an official band ...not bad for an all original band in Milwaukee, WI.!!! ...Not bad at all!!! Honorable Mention... playing C.A. music live as a Trio we called "DreamPool" on Cable Television December 8, 2007. A one hour program "Rockin ' The Cable Show" with Laurie Muffler!!
So what happened next?
Well I’ll admit... I couldn’t take the pressure and drama anymore [so] for about 3 years I gave up entirely, only to find that I couldn’t do without at least writing and playing for myself!
I am once again putting out the musical vibe as I’ve said, "If only for myself and my love of music"!! "CORPORATE ANGEL" - LIVES ON!!!
Bands I was in around town:
Asylum, Sebastian, Tempesstorm, Tito Bopp (all original), Rough Copy, DreamPool (all original) and Nothin But Trouble ...some of the biggies.
