Pre-recorded acoustic guitar or a drums, key and bass mix; necessary to fill out the "live" sound. Trust me you'll love it. What's not to like... it's just me recording the parts myself.

Jesse Lee, P. T. James, and I performed this below "live"version of "What You Gonna Do?" - recorded on Camcorder.

STUDIO/SOLO PROJECT
Sales are over 7,000 copies of the studio products (mostly "Luna" Cd) and close to 13,000 digital singles... since all became available as product and or mp3's - It’s safe to say, "People around the Globe/Net, enjoy this music !!!" -¡Mucho Gracias!!
Hi everyone I'm Doug "Angel" Luna, I've been working very hard (since 1995) to record products, write great songs and basically bust my *ss for what I love to do!
I've been heard/seen around town playing the best of my music ~old and new~ with a variation of musicians. However I have now teamed up with "the awesome" award winning (WAMI) percussionist, Jim Wirt Jr. - he and I gel seemlessly; many feel we've been playing together for years. Jim brings a professionalism and element to the stage and shows that have been missing these past few years... Thanx Jim!!
Forward progress? Steady... its been rough finding venues/clubs who have a clientele for "all original - one/two/three man acts" to obviously include the ocassional backing track. However, we continue to get out regardless [so] NO WORRIES!!
Do us (you and I) a favor, discover "Corporate Angel" - it might take a few listens but you'll find there are definately many songs to enjoy... then come see C.A. around town!!
"Most" who have seen/heard the music "live" feel the music transcends what the recordings seem to have captured... find out for yourself!!!
Peace,
Douglas S Luna

"Spell You’re Under" (8/1995)
- This, my first recording was a venture to assemble originals I had written in the late 80's early 90's while in other bands. To hopefully capture as best as I could [at that time] my intentions as a writer - as well as to hopefully offer up some guitar skills. Kudos to drummer "Dawn K." - an absolute force to be reckoned with; Unbelievable!!! I couldn’t have done it without her!!! (She even played bass on the title track!!)
"Luna"(1/1999)
- The second recording; compared to a modern day "Classic Rock" with references to the ethereal refinement and style of Pink Floyd (Winter's Mourn/Do You Want To?).
This cd was to be my personal [100%] effort at writing (*actually being able to play all the instruments except for the drums).
In the end, I recorded all guitars (except secondary acoustic tracks and the solo in "Major Mush" - P.T. James), singing all lead vocals, and 99% of the backing vocals. I was also financier, designer/photographer of the cd’s jacket and last but not least... in the studio, I was the co-producer with the awesome, award winning "Bill Stace" (Walls Have Ears)...I must have been crazy to think I could pull this whole thing off!
For me this was quite the endeavor and proved to be more than I bargained for... yet somehow the recording was completed and a band was assembled in the process; taking 4 plus years (from the writing stage) to finally play this material out live!!! Whoever said, "Money for nothin’ and chicks for free!!!" - Ouch!!!
I feel, anyone who has read this "Bio" of sorts will [I think] appreciate the music even more ...especially when knowing the story behind the processes! [lol; not enough info go to The Whole Bio "click here"]

While political maneuvering was setting the stage for an official
declaration of independence, a document explaining the decision was
being written. On June 11, 1776, Congress appointed a "Committee of
Five", consisting of John Adams of Massachusetts, Benjamin Franklin of
Pennsylvania, Thomas Jefferson of Virginia, Robert R. Livingston of New
York, and Roger Sherman of Connecticut, to draft a declaration.
...in a chilly environment,
your body redirects blood from your arms,
legs, hands and feet
to your torso, to insulate your vital organs, like
your heart.
That’s why your fingers and toes may feel cold,
but your
core temperature stays normal.
The belief that cold hands and feet indicate poor circulation
or a weak heart is false.
Just put on thicker socks.
Hi Doug! Loved the webcast! Great show! Of course not as good as the "live show", but just another great way to experience and appreciate the music. :o) Rock On! ~K
One of the most interesting mysteries
of Death Valley National Park is the sliding rocks at Racetrack
Playa (a playa is a dry lake bed).
Landsat image of Racetrack Playa. It is the flat white area in the center of the image.
Are They Moved by People or Animals?
by Wind?
by Ice?
Wind is the Favored Mover!
All of the best explanations involve wind as the energy source behind the movement of the rocks. The question remains
is do they slide while encased in an ice sheet or do they simply side over the surface of the mud? Perhaps each of these
methods is responsible for some rock movement?
Perhaps this story will remain more interesting if the real answer is never discovered!
The Venus Project is featured in the movie Zeitgeist: Addendum, as a
possible solution to the World problems described in the film.
The Venus Project was founded on the idea that poverty is caused by the
stifling of progress in technology, which itself is caused by the
present world's profit-driven economic system. The progression of
technology, if it were carried on independent of its profitability,
Fresco theorizes, would make more resources available to more people.
This new-found abundance of resources would reduce the human tendency
toward independence, corruption, and greed, and instead rely on people
helping each other. Fresco believes his ideas would maximally benefit
the greatest number of people and he states some of his ideas stem from
his formative years during the Great Depression.
It is a long movie but well worth the time...watch and determine what YOU think. I personally agree with MOST.
Memorial
Day formerly was observed on May 30. The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW)
and Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War (SUVCW) advocate returning
to this fixed date, although the significance of the date is tenuous.
The VFW stated in a 2002 Memorial Day Address: “ Changing the date
merely to create three-day weekends has undermined the very meaning of
the day. No doubt, this has contributed a lot to the general public's
nonchalant observance of Memorial Day. ”
