I like to watch all sorts of movies, but my favorites are the old Elvis films.
and also pure country,the ride,8 seconds,the cowboy way,I also like clint eastwood films and martial arts movies
mainly steven segal ones.

I dont really watch much TV other than the CMC on pay TV
and also movie chanels'
Books
I do like the harry potter books but other than that I love horror books mainly(steven kings) storys or wes craven'
Heroes
garth brooks, cause I think that he is the main influence on me with my music
and my dad cause I'm so much like him and I plan to record all his songs that he never had the chance to do
About me: Hi there, I'm Neil Douglas.
I was born on the 17 May 1980, in Mildura Victoria. From there I travelled around Australia with my parents, who are both musicians. When I was 12 we stopped travelling and settled in Wellington, NSW. Next I went to Dubbo, where I started playing guitar. Then I went to Tweed Heads for a year. I moved back to Dubbo and started singing, but I was too afraid to sing in front of anyone until I was 19. The first time I ever sang in front of anyone was in Dubbo at the Castlreigh Hotel. I sang Can't Help Falling in Love by Elvis. Ever since then, I became addicted to singing in front of people so I kept singing in front of people whether it was with a live band or Karaoke.
In 2000 and 2001 I won the Australia Day talent quest in Narromine, NSW.
In 2001 just before I won the the Australia Day talent quest I had been at Tamworth with my newly purchased music equiptment. I was lucky enough to meet Adam Harvery who was walking past where I was busking and he stopped and listened. He waited until I had finished singing and handed me $100 and told me to put it towards my first album. At that stage I think Adam Harvey had just released his album "Working Overtime". I also got to sing with Lee Kernaghan.
After that I lost my voice for a month. In 2003 and 2004 I won the Elvis Soundalike competition at Parkes, NSW. I moved back to Tweed Heads and kept performing.
I moved to Ipswich after that and made it into the finals for the World Karaoke Championships, I won the Ipswich Idol Contest.
I sang with Gretchen Wilson at the Tivoli theatre and got to meet John Rich (Big n Rich). I continued with my singing at Karaoke's and won Lowood Idol!
Through my last competition I have just recorded a three track demo, with interviews and gigs. I'll keep you all posted.

I'm alright I guess... I was in another car accident on December 2, 2008. I can't remember if I told you about that or not but I ended up in the hospital. Some drunk driver ran a red light and hit the car I was in and of course it was right where I was sitting lol. I am still a bit fuzzy on everything that happened that night. The person I was with said he carried me from the car to the curb after having to use all of his strength to pry the door open, but I don't remember... I guess I was knocked out or something... I'm still having issues with my neck and my back but I still have good days and bad such is life I guess lol. Oh and I forgot I have to go in and have an MRI done on my head to find out what is causing the really sharp pain in my head followed by the whole right side of my body going numb about once a day sometimes more. That's been happening since the accident. I've just been too lazy and too stubborn to go see the doctor and have the MRI done cause I hate having to be knocked out and left in a room with a stranger lol I have issues I know haha...
