Passion and ecstasy versus reason and deliberation...a thougt and attitude moved by emotion gave birth to SENTIMENT!!!
That is the basic value of the human nature, intangible energy which makes us feel vulnerable and happy, enthusiastic or sullen, but most of all- ALIVE!!!
The power of that word in its meaning is a message. A guiding light.

Gathered under that idea, three now experienced musicians (Nenad Kacavenda- bass, Ivan Grancaric-guitars and Jurica Baljak-drums) build up a vision how to improve and enrich their striving to the unique sound.
The things were cristally clear in the beginning of 2004 when Branimir Vugdelija from Sinj joined Sentiment. His emotional expression perfectly matched the music Sentiment wanted to play. However, the development of that idea was far from easy and it goes all the way back to 1992 when as Madhouse they took their first innocent steps towards the world of r'n'r by playing punk rock covers. The era of Swantears was marked by an euphoric ambition to make conceptual and diverse material. During their cooperation with mainstream bands such and "Meritas", "Emir & The Frozen Camels" and "Samurai", the members of Sentiment completed the circle. They decided to put together all their experience and produce music that will fight against anything that dares to restrict the freedom of expression.
The music they play today combines extremes: agressive, adrenaline riffs, goth drama, poisonous powerfull riffs and colourful electronic sounds.That apparently incompatible extremes were exposed in variegated futuristic fusion of metal, rock and melancholy In songs that are not afraid to be both agressive and sensitive.

In July of 2004, still under the name Swantears the band played as a support to legendary Helloween in Zadar. Mario Orac (guitars) and Branimira Novsak (keyboards) of "Darkendome" in friendly manner joined the band for the gig. In literary infernal atmosphere band successfully presented some of their new songs for the first time.
For their first appearance in the media under new name, Sentiment has chosen a cover song "Everything is Coming up Roses", a hit from the late 80's performed by Black. The cover will be among their ten new songs on the upcoming release with the working title TASTE OF THE SIN .

The band produced and arranged all the songs and designed the cover of the CD. The single "Everything is Coming up Roses" is very well accepted in media so far and it was on the top positions on the "VIP music" charts for unsigned bands. The band did many interviews and promotion in last five months as well. The great feedback made the band think of making a video in which they will present their visual identity and to announce release of the album..

This is the new age, so listen carefully... 'cause in this cruel and ruthless world, we all need a sentimental note a music which will not set us apart but a music that will bring us together!
