Sentinel is a melodic heavy metal band, founded by vocalist Danny Hernandez, and lead guitarist Jesus Verdugo in late 2003. The following months would be spent creating, and rehearsing material for a full set with the early 2004 roster consisting of: Danny Hernandez on vocals, Alfonso Hernandez on the drums, Rigo Rodriguez on rhythm and lead guitars, Jesus Verdugo on rhythm and lead guitars, Abraham on bass guitars, and Alberto ..boards. The line up changed several times over the next two years making it very difficult to rehearse/gig. The situation always being either lack of gig worthy gear or lack of musicianship, made it very frustrating to get a stable roster together, but the push to keep the project going still remained, and the few gigs played with an awesome response only fueled the push to go further.
2006 came, and with it a brand new roster consisting of Tony Lando on drums, Juan Gomez on rhythm and lead guitars, Jesus Verdugo on rhythm and lead guitars, Mario Mendoza on bass guitars, and Danny Hernandez on Vocals. After a couple of months of rehearsal, the original material sounded tighter and more powerful, and along with that new material was created, making this roster excellent. But once again, a stagnant period occured when Mario Mendoza left the mold due to creative differences but in January 2008, Rahsaan Davis (Skelator, Brocas Aphasia, Holy Tyrant, Man Destroys Himself, etc.) came to complete the line-up with a thundering bass attack making it the best line-up yet.
Sentinel is now ready, once again, to own anything and everything that gets in their
path.
