My favorite show is Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. The best show on right now is Heroes. The only other shows currently on TV that I try to watch are Mythbusters & Cash Cab.
Books
I read all sorts of stuff.
my 'currently-reading' shelf:
The books are not on the shelf in the order that I'm working on them. I'm currently concetrating on 2 right now.
You are a nurturer and all around natural therapist.
People see you as their rock. And they are able to depend on you.
You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words.
Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize.
Fantastic Mother You are going to be a fantastic mother. You love children and genuinely care about people. Early congratulations for when you get the top mom award!
Acceptance Your inner desire is acceptance. You are either a loner or have very few friends. All you truely want is to find at least one person who truely cares about and accepts you, but have so far failed to find them. Have hope though, eventually you will fulfill this desire.
How many of us actually accept compliments graciously by simply saying “thank you”? Someone praises the good in us, and rather than accepting their praise, for fear that we may seem conceited or lack humility – or perhaps we are truly insecure – we hem and haw and give all the reasons why we aren’t worthy of their compliment. A friend of mine said that an older friend of hers once bestowed the same advice: “You know, Susie, if I tell you I like the color of your hair, or your outfit looks nice, or how much I admire your talent for decorating, don’t waste my time by giving me a litany of reasons why I am lying to you. It doesn’t encourage me to compliment you in the future.” Susie could save both their time and energy, the next time she is complimented by her friend, by replying simply, “Thank you”. If a friend of yours gave you a present for no other reason than to be nice, you wouldn’t throw the present back in her face, would you? If you did, I guarantee it would be the last present you received from that friend! Compliments are no different. They are unsolicited gifts of appreciation and acknowledgement. You accept them, in the same way you would accept a present from a friend – with grace. When you accept a compliment with thanks, it doesn’t mean you are conceited, but rather that you have learned a thing or two about grace. We need to remember that to accept grace with gratitude is to invite divine energy directly to us in the form of a compliment. One of the greatest feelings is to give a heartfelt compliment, knowing that it is received in the same spirit it was given. The next time someone uses their energy to say something nice to you, enjoy the praise, and save both of your time by replying with a simple, “thank you. ”
