I seem to like just about all of David Lynch's work. Some of Tim Burton's works aswell. I also like David Cronenberg; The Fly, The Brood and A history of violence are all great films in one way or another. And those "old"-school horrormovies like Night of the living dead/Dawn of the dead/Day of the dead, and some from the wave of asian horrors in the last couple of years (though they became stale and repetitive after awhile), Shutter scared the crap out of me and probably scarred me for a long time to come. Others would include (but not limited to) The Shining (the original ofcourse) & Silence of the lambs. The Coen brothers are good for a laugh, most of the time... When I'm up for it.

oh god don't bust my bubble, i will just "die" if i cannnot buy tickets in advance, it's the whole fucking reason i joined the fanclub. yea i gave away a lot of my NIN stuff because i do shit like that. i still have my id card and 3 posters, 'with teeth', '5n', and 'broken'. hanging on my wall in fact which should already be down cause I'M MOVING but alas more bad news, no moving trucks available. so my van is in the shop now geting fixed, i'm gonna pack a few things after its fixed and sleep on the MOTHERFUCKING FLOOR. not to mention the crush of MY LIFE fucking stabbed me right in the heart yesterday. i'm in a pissy fucking hate the world, oh woe is me EMO mood. nothing a lil NIN can't cure in the long run.
awe that sucks but i completely understand about the economy. war hasn't helped any of us out. i'm a Psychology major and i'm just finishing up my mythology class which ends tomorrow and i start a new class this week. my classes are speed courses lasting five weeks each. no breaks, and i invest 20-30 hours a week in class. requirement. on top of that i'm in the military and i work part time at subway... and then add in single parent, and moving. grr can't wait for my vacation in the UK...
oh and for NIN to perfrom the day after my bday.. i'm thinking of begging trent to PLEASE do a meet & greet in Missouri...

well if the tour dates stick, i'll be hitting up the Aug 20th St. Louis, Missouri show, in hopes that I get a chance for a "meet and greet" seeing as my birthday is August 19th and what a fantastic birthday present to give myself... so yes I will be buying myself a NIN ticket for my b-day- just pray I get to meet him face to face finally...

Moby covered 'new dawn fades' for the "heat" soundtrack. he's really rather brilliant and one of the best covers i've heard of joy division. you should check it out and let me know what you think, k? havent' seen the new movie but i am a fan of Antons work and i've been keeping track of the progress of it. yes, i'll be coming to the UK for vacation, i choose that spot because i want to meet this girlfriend of mine that i've known for years.

hehe well you tease! i do want to see it... :) uh i didn't 'join' the fanclub to sit around for another seven years waiting to see trent live again. i was just busy and shite, no excuse really. i think i fell away from NIN for a few years, don't know why. yes, well i got into Depeche Mode and New Order and The Cure and shit really hard core.. i'm hoping Trent will be touring in the UK when i visit but odds are that won't happen.
i've seen him twice, btw. both times fell on the 31st ten years apart. jan 31 and halloween 05... both excellent shows but of course the one where he bowed with me ten years ago is my fave still.. thou i'm glad to have heard 'with teeth' in concert. fuck, need to go to more shows...
ha awesome, lucky you seeing him 4 times. yea i had a similiar exp BUT i rarely share it with anyone. back in 1995 (yes i am ancient) during 'head like a hole' i had been 'bowing' and looking directly at trent during the chorus every time. and towards the end of the song Trent looked at me for a solid minute and threw his hands up and started bowing. been watching live dvds ever since waiting to see him do that again, nothing yet. it freaked the fuck out of me and i stopped bowing of course and disappeared in the crowd. SO i understand your fear. haha
it has something to do with people's settings. i've had a few old friends of mine message me and i haven't been able to reply to them or friend request them because of their settings. it makes me feel awful- they probably feel hated. *pouts*
They posted a blog. "We're finishing the album off now in Los Angeles. There will be news about it, a tour, and various other things very soon, so keep an eye on here. xxxx" Hmm, I wonder who they are working with in Los Angeles?
Unfortunately no Stockholm for me this summer :( I cannot take anymore time off of work. If he goes back there in 2008 I'll definitely be there. I think I have enough frequent flyer miles on SAS for a ticket!
