Who ? Sébastien Biset, an historian of art (researcher) and a musician from Belgium. I created Sepia Hours in 2004, with a first Ep on the Belgian netlabel Sundays in Spring. After a second release on SiS, I've worked for other netlabels with a few releases on Social Fashion Records (Belgium, 2005), Beat is Murder (Austria, 2006) and Polymorphic Music (England, 2006) (+ v/a here and there : Laverna, Italy ; Aerotone, England ; Sutemos, Lithuany; etc.). The belgian label Matamore released my album 'When we'll cross these days, these seasons and their closes' in march 2007, and you'll find some of my last records on Fausse(s) Couche(s) / Pratiques de l'usure & Manières d'être là (from 2007 to 2009). Then I decided to dedicate myself to a 'concrete' self managment project (autogestion). From autumn 08 to spring 09, I've worked on a double album, a micro-dvd and a booklet of texts : everything is handmade (objects in a distinctive packaging) with a lot of patience, spontaneity, hesitations and conviction (available on MNÓAD). Sepia.Hours/Sebastien.Biset is an indietronica, experimental and post-modern songwriting project, an emphasis on fragmented forms, discontinuous narratives, and random-seeming collages of different materials. Between instrumental minimalism, indie songs, experimentation, noise and electronics, fieldrecordings, whispers, howls and veiled samplers, between attempts and unavoidable errors, sounds investigations try to come as pure organic and visceral material. During performances, I'm often accompanied by Jean DL, Impostor and Sébastien Karkoszka. We also play together under the name SOUMONCES! All this is not restricted to the 'musical field'. Because I want to develop it as an 'extra- or para-musical' project, I also work with various materials and anecdotes (photographs, books, videos, texts, performances, etc.) : you'll find some of my works on Fausse(s) Couche(s) / Pratiques de l'usure & Manières d'être là + MNÓAD. On a few occasions I collaborate with various theoretical and/or artistic magazines and publications. I'm also active in several cultural structures, associations and institutions ; among them, the platform PRATIQUES DE L'USURE & MANIERES D'ETRE LA... We propose anecdotes, net-releases, texts, events, performances and various kinds of works. We are not a label, not a webzine, not an artistic collective, not, not not. Artistic facts as (non-)collective production, 'pratiques de l'usure', 'manières d'être là' and mobile bar, pragmatism, multi-field propositions, a core and individual prospects. You can also take a look at MNÓAD, another parallel platform I created with Jean DL and Ben Impostor (micro-label, micro-edition, events, shows, etc.) : "Association issue de la structure rhodienne des Pratiques de l’usure et des manières d'être là, MNÓAD est une plate-forme de promotion, de création et de réflexion qui combine sorties de disques, activité éditoriale et organisation de concerts, conférences et performances de toutes expressions".

Oudéis, Art-Act, BVN, ainsi qu'une "exposition de poche" seront réunis pour l'occasion sur/dans l'espace qui leur a été accordé.
