The Band, born in 1997, has been influenced by sounds like Earth, Wind & Fire, Commodores, Kool & the Gang, Patty Labelle and others. They play their stuff all around the Country for a couple of years as one of the most requested and danced cover-liveband.
In 2003 thanks to Alberto "Bengi" Benati (FunkLab) they decided to produce by their own the first album called "Play that sound".
In 2007, the natural evolution of that project made them go back to the studio with the name of “September Groove Elite” to record their second album called “Funk Therapy” , a twelve-pop-funk tracks album completely four-hands-written by Claudio "Fabien" Magnani and Alberto "Bengi" Benati
In 2008 the Band has renewed it's line-up and consequently it's image, with a new collective leadership. They now call themselves “The Funky Machine”, with a perfect balance of fun, understanding and high technical levels, which make the “engine” of the Machine work perfectly.
