These Low Engine Angels, between Sun and Moon, Life and Death, this world and the next. They found each other. A belief among them. A bond between them.
The sun shone bright, so bright, that it stung their eyes to tears. Through the tears of the sun an image appeared. A women's face, her eyes told a story. She held the gaze of these Low Engine Angels. Her eyes radiated the warmth of the world and they knew that it was ok. They were embraced by the heat, captivated, almost lost again. She brought them through the deserts, the oceans wide and far, to the stars and back. The journey seemed like a lifetime and fear began to grow among them, she held them and assured them all was well. This was their path, their life, their future.
A gentle laugh rose among them as they found their feet on solid ground again. A whisper of a breath and she was gone.
One stood firm. His fist clenched. He had seen it all, his palm slowly opened to reveal a single red ruby....
