Our new name is RAW RADAR WAR
Mike was in TOETAG, KOZIK, and A POOR EXCUSE.
Jonah was in ONLY LIVING WITNESS, MILTOWN, and MILLIGRAM
Mario was in OHM
we've all been friends forever, in the Boston area, going to shows together, always hanging out...we were all in different places over the decades, we didn't actually started playing music together in Mike's basement on weekends until 2002, after Milligram broke up...when we moved out and into a practice space we started to get productive.
The old name wasn't permanent, and it originated from Eric Stevenson, from OLW.
When Jonah used to show up to OLW practices in 1989, he'd usually be wearing punk and HC band shirts, like Septic Death, Naked Raygun, Youth of Today, Butthole Surfers...Eric didn't like any of that stuff and would make fun of the shirts. One practice, when Jonah showed up with a blank shirt.... Eric sarcastically asked "What, no SEPTIC YOUTH COMMAND shirt today?" So, our original band name was a temporary tribute to that moment.
The 4 songs on this site are from our first recording session, with Glenn Smith (LIQUOR TRICKS)...he's also done great recordings for LAMONT and BURY THE NEEDLE.
We recorded again with him April 16 and 17, 2005: At THE G $pot aka AMPS VS OHMS
