Before Sunset a great sequel to Before Sunrise and just a great script with the two older and now scarred couple walking through Paris catching up the hard way wiser and Taxi Driver- Just a great movie about a man who is alone and alienated who goes into a deep fall - I think nearly every male has felt out of control like this at some point Lost in Translation- Great performances and generally about 2 people stuck in a rut in their lives but then sharing a special moment with another human being -life affirming stuff The Dreamers-Three young people just dick about in a Paris apartment (sometimes literally), play music, watch movies and stare at the beauty of Eva Green The French Connection-Hard-nut NYPD cops in the 70s trying to bust a drugs ring from France, uncompromising and totally un-PC (man)
