Castledreame­r, Starchaser, Bookworm, Seachild,...­ I do very much love the company of my amazing husband/ Meet ups and exchange of thoughts with my friends is very important to me as well / I like to look on the bright side of life and try to find the funny sides in everything (which is easier said than done sometimes ;o))) / And I prefer things that are a bit crazed, dark and out of the ordinary. I am a Gothic dreamer since childhood and I love the dark side of life and vampyres. I have a great interest in all things vampyric , love anything gory and I worship the entire atmosphere of the Victorian and Medieval era. I just love the Victorian period especially the costumes, house décor and general history of the lifestyle. I'm convinced that I was born in the wrong era/ I like people who dare to be different - NOT being different because it happens to be fashionable,­ but different in the sense of being who you really are, and not care about what others may think! / You can also find me on long walks in wilderness and into the centre and realms of the inner world and soul / Cannot get enough of the howling of the storm at night, the smell of wet earth, thunderstorm­s, the wild sea ( I am def a seachild), snow and ice, mist in October and November, and rainy afternoons, they are so magickal... Autumn and Winter...and­ my soul is bursting with happiness. Rainy days, dark nights, mists, storm and rain...is the landscape of my soul / I like fairy tales and their interpretati­on, mythology and legends, folklore / My favourite haunts are cathedrals, churchyards, museums, grand houses, antiques markets and charity shops. An avid bargain hunter I cannot pass a charity shop, antique or flea market without delving in / Also like visiting art galleries (the Symbolists,the Romantics as well as the Pre-Raphaelite painters are my favourites) / I am generelly very interested in history. I also would love to time travel (and am fond of books about time travelling).­ Apart from time travelling, I like to travel and see the world :o))) / I do like Poetry, Proverbs, Haiku,... / ...and I am also interested into Genealogy and finding my ancestors / BOOKS AND MUSIC- ELIXIRS OF LIFE / Not sure what I believe in, but I suppose it comes quite close to Paganism and Wicca. Apart from that, I am into consciousnes­s, and the Power of Now, and my motto is to live and let live / Wolves, owls, dogs, crows and raven, plus the Aye Aye - belong to my favourite animals....a­nd I love dragons! Well, I do like animals in general / I am fascinated by haunted houses, ghosts, nature spirits, tarot and runes, spiritualism­, all things paranormal / Creativity is also a very important part of my life: I like to paint and to draw, writing Haikus, DIY, sewing, scrapbooks, soul collages, shadow boxes, creating whimsical dolls...also­ photography,­ photo manipulation­(just started to find it interesting), card making, art with a story, McGees Alice, Edward Gorey / Böcklin / CD Friedrich / Gustav Doré/ Laurie Lipton / Waterhouse / Rossetti / Steampunk, etc...arts and crafts in generel, especially disturbing art / I do like psychology (C.G.Jung), dream interpretati­on and philosophy / The cinema (especially Tim Burton / Guillermo del Torro/ Terry Gilliam),... / Concerts, theatre, Steampunk, (dark) cabaret, Gypsies, ... I still would run away with the circus folk ( but nowadays with my husband by my side) - the freedom and the magickal world they live in are very tempting...b­ut I still think clowns are evil ;o)))
