"Can't Stop The Serenity" is a global series of events celebrating Joss Whedon's birthday (23 June)and geared to raise funds and awareness for Equality Now, an international women's rights advocacy group.
This year we are holding the event on June 20 at the Bloor Cinema, 506 Bloor St. at the Bathurst subway. Doors open at 12:30. The event goes till 5:00 and we will be having a shindig afterwards.
2008 was the third year we held this fundraiser in Toronto. In 2007 we more than doubled what we raised in 2006 and in 2008 we did even better.
