omg yeah! totally awesome marketing scheme...thing =] although at first i thought it was one of those preachers telling people that they're all going to die, but then realised that somebody was taking a picture =] Xx amazing music by the way =]
While i'm here... The new material is BRILLIANT =) I dunno if it's possible for me to pick a favourite... Misunderstood? Hammered on the homebrew? All of them to be honest. Haven't actually found a place for my sticker yet, but i love it! So yeah, brilliant stuff, keep up the good work. Love Georj xx
Twilight Terror II Witness such fabulous sounds and visions in the gloomy twilight! Saturday 9th February at The Library, Leeds
On the bill…. .: Miranda Arieh :. ....amazing acoustic act with songs with a voice that is sometimes a little girl, sometimes mumm-ra the ever living.... .: Madame Laycock’s Dabañero Pleasures :. ....the kind of all-girl gypsy circus freak show that you have always wanted to see, get psyched with the um-pa-pa of the accordion.... .: Silverlode :. ....the crooked, dark sounds of the mind-bending skiffle-prog-pop complete with the hellish black and silver war paint.... .: Insect Guide :. ....dreamy sounds, blissful songs and mysterious alluring visions, look on in wonder.... .: The Revelator Band :. ....fare the storm with the good ship revelator as the gothic blues and the victorian soul unfolds and the captain steals your hearts....
There'll be projections and of course everyone’s favourite indie schmindie pop
Both Me & Roxy would love to see you at our crimbo do but if you can't make it we wish you all a Merry Christmas & New Year and thank you for all your support in 2007, see you next year! Big Loves Nadine & Roxy xxxxx
Hi - it was ace thanks - but International Trust couldn't headline (their bassist had to elsewhere at that time) and Tres Macacos pulled out a few days before so Silverlode stepped in. Hurricane Sunday's gig fell through on Saturday so they asked if they could play so..... the line-up was.... The Victors (opening) International Trust The Sneakypeeks Silverlode Hurricane Sunday And basically - it was rammed to the max for International Trust - really good gig for them. Good night overall.
'The Continuing Adventures of Sergeant Lewis' is now available from The Grain Divsion Shop.
Four new dirty acoustic pop songs with complete with super-pop melodies and gore: 'Misunderstood', 'The Club', 'Hammered On The Homebrew' and 'Undone Londerground'.
EP CDs priced at only £3.50 including an exciting Sergeant Lewis vinyl sticker.
Also - limited copies of the first EP, Amature Dramatics have been pressed so if you didn't catch it the first time do it now!
I will do my very best to attend. I do like a good launch night! - In the meantime, I'll be working on some recording of my own. I've bought myself one of those little Boss Micro studios. Count yourself as part of the inspiration behind the purchase!
Good show again last night guys, shame about the "bouncing"
To that end, I will leave you with a quite fitting Stereophonics lyric:
"Promotion for you is to stamp my wrist If you're a good boy ya get the guest list Ya don't listen don't think no mind of your own Your job is prevention but you just provoke"
Thanks, for a second there, it was starting to sound like "The knee bone's connected to the-thigh bone etc"
I'll certain do my best to catch one of the gigs. Best of luck with finding a new partner by the way. I'd offer my own services, but I'm lacking in the talent department!!
We might rock you? You guys are going to give an excellent performance that will not only be rockin' but mindblowing Yes I am going to come to it, my Mum is ordering tickets next week, I'm hoping there are still some available X
hey Rog, thanks for my birthday comment!! hehe got my first driving lesson as well tomorrow cant wait Did you know you are in the Wharfedale and Airedale Observer Paper this week something to do with WWRY xxx
Ooooo, yay! I'm higher up in the top friends thanks guys :D Also, I am enquiring about all these gigs you have lined up, are they all different or will they have the same content played in each one? X
