Serge Imhof grew up in Brig, a small town in the south of Switzerland.Already by the end of theeighties he became immersed in the world of underground parties andclubs with their electronicsounds. While constantly growing in experience as DJ and with his ever-expanding record collection, he has played almost every club in his home country since 1992 as a guest and with many residencies.
Under the alias "DJ Fallovie", he performed as a techno dj which he gave great passion and expression to as an artist.
In the year 1994 some of the promoters of the large events and festivals detect his talent. DJ Fallovie plays now in the biggest swiss raves, like the Futurescope, Evolution, Goliath,Garden of Eden and many more, as well as his numerous club performances. Together with artists, like The Advent, DJ Hell, Derrick May, Ultra Naté and Faithless he brings his underground style to the masses with his driving rhythms that set the crowd on fire.
1996 he was contacted by Gez Valey, of the legendary LFO. Gez offers Serge to publish a production on his label g-rec.
His first 12inch vinyl with the name " DJ Fallovie - Clubsex EP " is released alongside a remix by Gez Valey. A short time later it hits the shelves of the record stores and is soon on their top 10-charts. This record rapidly gets itself the acknowledgement of the underground and the respect of many artists around the globe who play it regularly.
Serge is now becoming an international success as a DJ, in the best techno clubsaround the world. Berlin, Lisbon, Paris, Milano, Rimini, Budapest the list is endless. Further productions, licenses for compilations, his own radio shows like "ELECTRIC CHAMPAGNE", fashion show compositions and many other new projects are testament to his growing ambition in the music scene.
1999 Serge began to concentrate more on his profile as a house artist which he is now giving his full effort and attention. House pioneer and model of the scene Marshall Jefferson (Chicago / USA) offers Serge to produce a track together. The idea behind it was to merge classical roots with innovative ideas from Serge. The symbiosis, which develops september 2002: the record "MARSHALL JEFFERSON + SERGE IMHOF - 69%". The record was released on OnePhatDeeva Records London and Traffic Records distributed by Peppermint Jam Germany and includes remixes by ATFC (Defected Records) and Torso.
After a short time, 69% was found on many top selling cd compilations!
In the same time serge was the first artist signed to OnePhatDeeva Records what speaks for his music quality and sensitivity as high quality producer!
May 2003 the next big shot The record "SERGE IMHOF + ATFC - SPANISH ANGEL" on OnePhatDeeva RecordsTop 10 chart positions on many dj / radio and hypecharts. Already an Ibiza summer anthem, the track can be found on compilations like the official pacha summer 2003 double cd mixed by danny rampling and wally lopez.
2005 he starts again with his legendary club serie label called "ELECTRIC CHAMPAGNE house & electric music" concentrated in electro-house in world top clubs like kaufleuten (zurich) , blue marlin (ibiza), studio one (würzburg)...
2008 serge released some excellent club killers like "electric orient", "in tha club" or "tonight" (co-production with dawn tallman and barbara tucker from new york) on his own record label ELECTRIC CHAMPAGNE RECORDS!
In the meantime serge works on an eclectic mix of new sounds and innovative ideas in his own OneStepBeyond musicstudio in zurich switzerland.
Co-operations with further house artists are already in the pipeline.
