Many of us were born in analog era and grew up in digital. Reminiscence of the youth retain in our memory archives with solicitude. Documents of an analog format were transferred to a digital one and chronologically became stockstill at silver and gold audio and video disks of ours home collections. From time to time reminiscence break through from the past by digital sources. We watch old 8-mm films by plasma-panel displays, listen to tape records from our childhood by hi-end systems, look at black-and-white photographs by mobile phones. Rapid change of format, technology and communication carried to an absurdity many aspects of our being… in the western world. Our country is gradually changing; many aspects of our being are carried to the point of absurdity with a slight delay. We is in a hurry to throw away from ourselves a great deal in order to enter inconceivable information stream and breathless descend into sludgy bottom of indifference, irony and cynicism.

The Santa label releases a 10 volume CD-R series of the Alllophons' best recordings. The first five volumes are now available exclusively through the sonig mailorder.
Santa is proud to announce The Allophons (a/k/a Cologne's experimental masterminds F.X.Randomiz and C-Schulz). Going way beyond the possibilities of common dj-sets, The Allophons have extracted thousands of snippets from tracks across all styles and genres, ruthlessly deconstructed them using the most advanced techniques and blended them into completely new tracks. The Santa collection offers terabytes of unheard - yet strangely familar - sounds in a set of 10 CD's. The Allophons' instrument is digital technology - editing, processing, arranging. Their "revised recordings", created from existing works, make wry commentaries on the content of the source material. The gestures and tonalities of much-loved genres from yesteryear are ruthlessly deconstructed and blended into new exciting music. Enjoy duets that never happened! Dance to old classics mashed with goofy disco tunes!
