Sergio Athos es una de las figuras mas importantes en la escena argentina.
Como DJ fue pionero de la música electrónica en Buenos Aires a fines de los 80..s.
Y con Container, su empresa de iluminación robotizada y sonido, instaló la mayoría de las discotecas exitosas del país. Además es residente y dirige el club mas moderno
de capital, Bahrein.
El mundo del acid house de Chicago, el techno de Detroit, el techno Alemán, el tecno pop y la cultura deejay desde 1987 fueron los estilos que identificaron a Athos en la primer etapa de su carrera como DJ profesional.
En el 2003 y luego de estar alejado más de 10 años de las cabinas dedicándose a su empresa, Athos volvió a las pistas. Asimilo la evolución que se dio en el arte de las bandejas y la música electrónica aferrado a conceptos que marcan la personalidad
artística de un DJ que trabajó en los 80's. Y con su manejo de tiempos, habilidad para crear climas y excelente selección musical logro una inmediata aceptación de los dancers.
Podes escuchar a Sergio Athos y su mix de house, minimaltecno y tecno todos los sábados en su propio club Bahrein, en su residencia semanal "Basement Sounds" y constantemente, como invitado en los mejores clubs de Argentina.
Sergio Athos is one of the most important figures in the Argentinian electronic scene. Towards the end of the 80’s and onward, he has been one of the trailblazer Dj’s of electronic music in Buenos Aires. With Container, his sound and robotized illumination company, he has equiped the majority of the successful clubs of the country. Athos is also resident and owner of the most modern club in Buenos Aires, Bahrein.
The world of acid house from Chicago, techno from Detroit, German techno, techno pop and the culture of deejays, since 1987 has been the styles which have identified Athos during his first years in his professional career as a DJ.
In 2003, and after several years away form the cabins, putting all his energies in his lightning company, Athos decided to return to the dance floor . He assimilated the evolution that took place in the art of turntables and the electronic movement, incorporating his artistic personality of the 80..s to the new era of electronic music.
With his time management, the talent to create moods and his brilliant musical selection, he was able to gain a fast and lasting acceptance from the dancers.
