Sergio Salvi was born in Naples, Italy, in 1982. He started classical piano studies at the age of 10, with the Italian composer Claudio Righetti. After 8 years of classical studies he started studying jazz music with the neapolitan saxophoninst Giulio Martino and with the pianist Michele di Martino. He played in many rock and jazz italian bands (Insula Dulcamara, Salvatore Tranchini Digital Orchestra, Melania, Bappi, Mauro di Leonardo). Actually he is living in Madrid where he is playing with different projects (Sinouj, MaracatuFM, Zani, Abel Trigo, and more), and he is working as a composer for cinema and theatre.
