Provenienti da formazioni artistiche diverse, il teatro e la musica classica, che li hanno portati ad esibirsi dal Teatro alla Scala, al Royal National Theatre di Londra, dal Teatro Colòn di Buenos Aires allo Schlachthof di Brema trovano il loro primo punto d’incontro nel gruppo di musica popolare Antidotum Tarantulae otto anni fa, con il quale hanno pubblicato due album e hanno preso parte ad alcuni dei più importanti festival di musica popolare italiana ed europea .........................................................................Despite their different artistic origins, theatre and classical music, that had lead them to perform in the The Scala Theatre, the Royal National Theatre of London, The Colòn Theatre of Buenos Aires the Schlachth Theatre of Brema, eight years ago they had found a meeting point in the Antidotum Tarantulae Folk Music Band. With Antidotum Tarantulae they recorded two albums and performed in many of the most important italian and european folk festivals... -

Al Teatro dei Fiorentini di Napoli il 26 agosto 1794 verso l’una di notte il sipario si chiudeva su un ballo russo, finale del secondo atto de “Le astuzie femminili” di Cimarosa, appena tornato da un viaggio di almeno 6 anni attraverso l’Europa.
Dall’Italia alla Russia un percorso vissuto attraverso la voce di tante donne che cantano, ognuna con la sua musica e le sue parole, la propria piccola astuzia per cavarsela in ogni situazione, come forse Cimarosa le sentì 200 anni fa. Un colorato spettacolo musicale che parte dalla tradizionale tarantella napoletana, fino alle danze dei cosacchi passando per l’elegante cabaret francese e tedesco, il kletzmer più sfrenato e le sensuali musiche ispaniche.
Il tutto condito con un pizzico di teatralità tra il Serio e il Faceto
THE CUNNING WOMEN
On 26th August 1796 at the Teatro dei Fiorentini of Naples, in the middle of the night, curtains were closed on a Russian ballet, the last act of “The cunning Women” staged by Cimarosa . The show was just returning from an European tour lasted for six years.
A path from Italy to Russia lived through the voices of many women singing,everyone playing her own music and her own words,her own little shrewdness to survive in every situation,like probably Cimarosa heard 200 years ago. A coloured musical performance ranging from the traditional Neapolitan Tarantella to the Cossak dances, the French and German cabaret and the sensual Hispanic music .
Everything is wisely mixed with a touch of theatricality in the midst of ... Serious and Facetious.
