"To be Flamenco is to have another skin, other passions, other desires. It is a different way of seeing the world, with music in one's nerves, a fierce pride, happiness mingled with tears; it is a loathing of routine and sameness; it is to be intoxicated in song, wine, and kisses. It is the translation of life into an art of caprices and freedom." - Tomas Borras
Thanks for that local'. I look forward to some good "jass." fyi-There is a hip little coffee shop with live music called the Revolution Cafe on 7th St. in Oakland, across from West Oakland Bart. It's pretty tiny and unassuming, with some pretty terrible coffee, but some good music.
Ralph, I love "Boogie's the Thing" how fun!! I am doing well, trying to get my music going, still... a lot of patience required (which I find I don't have anymore!!!) Hugs, Av. your saxy ladyfriend.
