EricPedigo.com	Jul 29 2008 2:48 AM Days of our Favre, How the Bears may go 2-14, Baseball fights, WNBA fights, And the return of Miiiiiike A few months ago my Fiance Amanda's Mom Terry was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow. There is no cure for CLL - but there are a number of treatments and doctors are studying new ways to treat CLL. Generally it is slow progressing, but it can behave aggressively in some people. Terry is an amazing person. She's a mother and a best friend to Amanda, and she's an incredibly loving and terrific Grandmother to our children. We all love her a great deal, and we are doing everything we can to help. In September Amanda and I are participating in the Light the Night Walk. This is an annual event to raise money for better treatment and hopefully an eventual cure. So we really need your help. Below I've posted a link where you can go and donate money. I realize that you may or may not know me. And you probably don't know, or will never meet Amanda's Mom. But in your lifetime you WILL be affected somehow by leukemia. So don't wait until you're the one walking for someone you love, try to make a difference now.
