East Williamsburg is becoming a creative hang out for pioneering artists, and new businesses in Brooklyn. Serj is one block from the L train and only 15min drive from Manhattan. The community is growing and surrounding SERJ there are a lot of new stores, bars, coffeehouses and restaurants in the area. Popular to the crowd is Northeast Kingdom Restaurant & Bar , and the coffee shop, Wyckoff Star, which are both located within 2 mins walk from SERJ. The Jefferson stop location is known for it's Artist's open studio walks in Summer. During this yearly event , Serj will participate in Open studios visits, and welcomes the public. Just across the street from SERJ is very good hardware store, a customized stretcher frame maker for paintings and Soho Art Materials, which is perfect for creative professionals.
