SernBand started as a solo acoustic act with Sern Lagerwall on guitar and vocals. Joined recently by his brother Arn and friend Wayne Els they are experimenting with new sounds and planning on becoming a full scale band in the near future. Back in their hometown of Newcastle KZN after living in Durban for five years, they have plans to move to Johannesburg to fulfill the vision that is SernBand. With Arn backing him up, and Wayne on lead guitar they bring a full, clear sound with extensive range.
