Session Zero has set a priority to record music based on musical integrity and the various influences that the individual band members have drawn from in their inspirations. The music is set in a dark setting, and the style is reminiscent of bands such as Faith No More, Primus, Alice in Chains, TOOL, and others. The genres described in the music range from a mix of styles, including goth, progressive, metal, and experimental jam music, making Session Zero the originators of a new Dark Blues Funk sound.
