Sessomorte is sexy, organic-sounding electronica driven by warm female vocals, solid grooves and passionate arrangements.
Formed in 2001 by bassist Vincenzo Sirico, formerly of the little known but well-loved NJ band, "The Pure".
After its inevitable collapse, Sirico parted ways with lead guitarist Lionel Mootoo, drummer Pete Liebezeit and singer Jess
Ritgers, and began composing what would eventually become the first SESSOMORTE album. He then fortuitously met aspiring vocalist/ world-renowned Olympic athlete, Liliko Ogasawara. They immediately began sessions with
the intention of achieving artistic fulfillment without the usual band-related frustrations.
"At times intense, hooky and energized; at times deep, dark and contemplative, Sessomorte is an eclectic blend of styles. Pop, house, trip-hop, as well as ambient and even rock embrace in rich, multi-textural orchestrations evocative of a plethora of emotions.
Captivating and compelling; ethereal yet primal, Visceral is an album of intense passion, running the gamut of moods and feelings. Recorded over four years through day jobs, night schools, physical injuries and romantic catastrophes, it is an expressive chronicle of authentic personal experience and introspection. The threads of disparate influences are artfully woven into lush aural tapestries, and Ogasawara's voice is a hot, brilliant flame dancing upon the dark but melodic soundsacapes rendered by Sirico."

A fine greetings. I'm actually back at "Odyssey" formerly "Major League Fitness", and I am reclaiming all lost territory. That being the perfect woman, excellent jobs, brute strength, and yes, an absolutely KILLER band. Found old videos from 1997-1998 that will be part of a cable network movie "Inter-dimensional Man" In which I infiltrate time and space. We will need more "actors" especially a "Kirk like" commander from "Galactic Command" if ya know what I mean...
