NEWS
Seth Asa is currently working on his new album, "Dream 33", which he hopes will be complete in time for Christmas...!

Seth is currently in Cleveland, Ohio, performing with Great Lakes Theatre Festival in a production of William Shakespeare's MacBeth. He returns to Boise, Idaho, in November.

BIO
Seth Asa grew up in rural Maine, making music from an early age. He is now a songwriter with a truly individual folk style; his self-proclaimed "acoustic art-rock" sound.

As a singer-songwriter largely influenced by classical poetry, jazz, folk, and rap music, Seth often has more interest in the sound of words than their actual meanings. In his quest to create a different feel of lyrical interplay between rhythm and tone, syllabic content, and rhyme, his creations are rich and full, despite his often minimalist and etheric musical instrumentations.

Seth Asa is also a current member of the bands "Pretty Youth," Semi*Famous," "Visitor Zero," and drums for "Rich Conrad and the Po'Billy Beats." Over the years he has recorded, in various forms, over 60 albums.

NOTES ON THE SONGS

* * *

"The Weather"
This song is about the end of the world... or the beginning.

"up the down slide"
This song came during the state between awake and asleep.

"Children in the Smoking Section"
Written through a series of Pretty Youth sessions.

"No Guarantees"
Physician, heal thyself.

"Wake Me"
This one was another half-awake meditation that rattled around the brain for a number of years before committed to the reel.

Hi there! We've got a new EP that we're especially proud of called Summer which is the second in our series of seasonal EPs this year. We'd love for you to listen to the EP online, and to do so, just click on the graphic below. If you like what you hear, we'd be very grateful if you'd support our efforts by buying the EP for €2.50 (around $3.20).

Hope all is going great for you. Thanks for being our friend!

I didn't know you were from Maine.

Hmmm, I have to rethink this entirely.
