Getting off from school early on a Friday in September. Going home to play Ocarina of Time on your Nintendo 64 then getting a call from that girl who you have a crush on but you’re too much of a wimp to actually pursue. Then spending the whole cold and smeary day indoors playing Resident Evil. Then you get a ride to Taco Bell and go home watching the leaves fall as you drive, and drink some Dr. Pepper before heading out to the under pass where the train tracks start. You start walking down the tracks. It looks like rain, but your body has become atrophied from lack of exercise so you're like, screw it, and go anyway. You walk a couple hundred yards to the part where the tracks begin to bend into the secluded forest. It's actually starting to sprinkle a little bit and night is coming but you keep moving anyway. The rain picks up some, then a little more, then it gets out of hand. Running down the tracks soaking wet you see a small yellow reflective square. There will be shelter from the rain in the large cement storm drain under the tracks. It's getting a little colder and it's dark as hell, you're starting to get spooked but at least it's dry down in that slightly elevated storm drain. You go home and then your Mom tells you she's getting divorced and you're like, "Awesome, what's for dinner?"
My name is Seth Fentress. I'm a musician. I love anime, video games, and Taco Bell. I have Wilford Brimley Presents "Diabetes" The Musical in theaters everywhere Februrary 22.
HEARKEN is a Seth Fentress collection containing 18 tracks spanning across 10 years of recordings done in my room and in people's basements and garages. Hearken can be bought new through my createspace account from amazon.com for $9.99 by clicking here or downloaded from amazon.com for $5.99 by clicking here. In addition to "Hearken" I have an all instrumental collection called FILM SLEEP which you can get here or download here. Also if you need a Seth Fentress shirt you should click here. Also I'm looking for a recording studio and live musicians to play with... or dead ones.
Thanks =) To say I appreciate the encouragement is an understatement!
I wish you the best in Nashville. I hope you meet some musicians and get a recording deal. xD
The con performance was the most fun I've ever had playing a show in my life (that includes my old band, since S.S. HANAMI has only played twice.) Unfortunately, I had the flu so it's evident in live videos that my energy was a little down.
Heya! =D Long time no talk. ^^ Our latest single Yukimi is now available on iTunes, CDBaby.com, and an ever-expanding list of other music download sites.
Oh, and we have a new guitarist. She's learning the songs and, as soon as she does, we'll be ready to play some more shows!
I would have to say the your song, "With A Ravens Quill" is quite fantastic. And even better, it is edited in with Death Note on your page here. Fantastic work good sir. Im still in awe. Thank you. (^-^)!
Yes I have to agree Cowboy bebop has to be one of my top fav animes. Did you hear about the live action that supposed to come out with like keaunu reeves(however you spell his name ><) is in it apparently. Yeah hellmart not so bad considering I do have a few mates that work there, Oo question why is charcoal soil not on your page anymore? that song is like uber pwnage, had it as my first song on my page for awhile.
The world of mine is quite basic at the moment, searching for work might end up working at hellmart for the time being ^^ and been learning my tenor sax all over again. I heard Goodnight Julia one of my most fav songs from Cowboy bebop a few days back after like years of forgetting it (i know shame on me). I was just like wow what a treat it would be to learn this piece and I fell in love with that instrument all over again=p
