The tracks I have up right now are from February’s RPM Challenge, a sort of self-directed and self-adjudicated contest in which several hundred people attempted to record an entire album (10 tracks or 35 mins minimum) in 29 days. You can hear the whole album on the RPM Jukebox, although you have to create a login and search the library -- kind of a pain, I admit. Or you can go to my website and download it.
The album is a kind of concept album/song cycle about my experiences as a soldier in Iraq. The full album alternates instrumental "mood" pieces and songs with lyrics.
Resolved most of the technical issues that were plaguing my recording initially, so I’ve re-posted all these with proper sound levels.
The full title of "Going to Heaven" is actually "Going to Heaven (A Pacifist in Iraq)," but there’s a character limit for song titles.
The songs with vocals were recorded on in a friend’s "CHU," or "Containerized Housing Unit." That is, "trailer."
