Seth Pettersen is a native Californian. He started playing the drums at the tender age of 13, and played in various garage bands. When he was 16 years old he picked up the guitar and started the band
Franklin for Short
with lifelong collaborator Trevor Beld (Tall Tales and the Silver Lining). Franklin for Short which is still an active band has released over 7 albums and toured the states. In 2003 Seth recorded a home demo called "Out of the Picture" which for the first time, featured Seth on every instrument. In 2005, he took another stab at a completely solo effort, 12 songs which he titled "Warmth" (available on iTunes). 2009 saw Seth effortlessly record his strongest record to date "So Fully" which will be available worldwide this December, as a duel release between
Beehouse Records
and SomisSound.
