I took up guitar at age 12 and by the time I was 13, was playing professionally and jamming at famed New York City clubs the Wetlands and Mannys Car Wash with people such as Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, Jimmy Vivino, Merl Saunders, Matt Guitar Murphy, and many others.
In addition to my instrumentals, I started writing songs with lyrics almost five years ago, when I was 19 because I realized that I needed to express myself more fully as an artist. I have written over 35 songs. I currently live in New York city and my band consists of Aaron Comess on drums,Rich Hammond on bass and Keith Cotton ..s and vocals
I have a mix of original songs and jams in an eclectic variety of rock, blues, fusion and pop. The music is intense, energetic jams and accessible hook-laden rock songs. My major influences include the Allman Brothers, Clapton, Jackson Browne and Paul Simon.
My new album is almost ready and will be released in the spring of 2008.
