Feel liberated to add a song you like to your page or whatever... I was a Michael Jackson/Prince baby, that should tell you how long I've been singing. I can appreciate artists who produce their own stuff, real musicians who are not afraid to step out of the box. I love singing over instrumentals (DJ on 1's & 2's scratchin & mixin) but I also love the concept of a band... it's a much more creative environment than working alone. The music j'adore right at this moment comes from that "post-disco/pre-condom" era. As far as music today, I like a good bit of it. Shout out to the THIRD COAST!!!My latest project, IN... EARCANDY (OUT RIGHT NOW!!!) was co-produced/engineered by Joshua Ballou (of Little Boi Ballou Productions-Dallas, TX). I started out with Michelle Darden (of New Kaden-Chicago, IL). Love you SHELL!!! Err...I sang in my church's youth/young adult choirs, sang with SUIGC for a year at Southern University of Baton Rouge, LA. My music is for whoever get it, I'm just sharing my gift with the world... you can either hate it or love it. Shout out to the singers/musicians I got to meet while in Dallas, TX recording my demo... and Kain, thanks. A bigger vocal influence is my mother, ever since a child... I can recall her around the house humming, singing whatever came to her head. She also sang with a band here in A-town, before my day. Other veteran members of my church choir... thanks to each & every person who came into my life... and offered what it was that I needed, or didn't need. Good or bad, you all have made me who I am today. Okay I guess I can chill out now, LOL...
