A long time ago in a galaxy called Basingstoke the Seven Ages of Man were born. When they grew up they formed a band which they called, by an alarming coincidence, The Seven Ages of Man, or more often, The Seven Ages of Maaan! The Seven Ages of Maaan played guitars, sang, behaved in an abnormal manner and set fire to things. People loved them, especially drunk people.

The unlicensed provision of even one musician is a potential criminal
offence (although some places are exempt, including places of public
religious worship, royal palaces and moving vehicles). Max penalty:
£20,000 fine and six months in prison.
