   About Seventy 4our

Jera, The Debut CD Fall 2007. A new beginning, a fruitful part of the year. Jera applies to any activity or endeavor to which you are committed. Be aware, however, that no quick results can be expected. A span of time is usually involved; hence the key words One Year symbolizing a full cycle. You have prepared and planted the seeds. Now you must cultivate with care. To those who labor has a long season, a long coming to term, Jera offers encouragement of success. Know that the outcome is in keeping of Providence and continue to persevere. There is no way to push the river; equally you cannot hasten the harvest. Be mindful that patience is essential for the recognition of your own process which, in its season, leads to the harvest of the self. We hope you like what you hear. Seventy 4our.

This project was the colaborative effort between Tony Comparelli, Iain McNally and Paul Marangoni. Taking the project back to the World Famous Metal Works Studios in Toronto, back to the way records where recorded in the day...real drums, 2inch tape, big board, casette player microphones....you know....lots of time setting up, waiting, recording, setting up, waiting, recording. Many talented people worked on this record including L. Stu Young, Joao Carvalho, Denis Kelde, Carmela Long, Shannon Faith, Venice Carmeron, Tova Kardonne and of course what can be said about Jeff Buckley...the real inspiration to this record.

Tony Comparelli, born in Toronto, Canada is the Lead Singer and Songwriter has written and recorded with Silvio Simone, Rik Emmett, Daniel LeBlanc on his first original project Simon Chase.....2 Records released world wide in 1989 and 1996 with extensive Canadian, US and European touring.

Paul Marangoni, born in Toronto, works in Los Angeles, a musician who plays the drums (he hits things). Paul has performed and/or recorded with FM, Coney Hatch, Zappacosta, Freddy Curci, Phil Naro, The Works, Kim Mitchell, David Gibson, Eugene Smith, Fuze, Mantis, Simon Chase, Adrian Davison, Roger Cormier, Kick, Nothing, Thanks, Al Connelly, Alex Masi, Looks Like Rain, The Brothers Dimm, Janeen Leah, Over The Garden Wall, and many more.
