Tom Urwin - "Defiance" (SVRD08) - 11/02/2009
Following on from the psy feel of Psyordfish is this new crossover track from Tom Urwin. A deep rolling hard house bass drives the track through some lovely synths and psy type fx, until out of no where a fantastic acidic synth takes charge!
This and a saw synth carries the track through to the break where a menacing NRG style filtered lead comes in and drives the track through to the end - a definate favourite for the hard heads out there!

It's been a bit quiet over the Christmas period at SID HQ, but to come back with a bang we've decided to keep back this great new energetic hard houser from Tom Urwin for ourselves!
A driving off beat bassline drives the tracks through some twisted stabs and riffs until it hits the break where some eerie fx and stabs take hold! The lead on this is equally twisted yet still melodic enough to appeal to more than just the filth heads - by far one of Tom's best tracks to date. With support from Tim Stokes, Adam M & Dave Curtis!
