Everyone is searching for something. Severely Yours exists to show a brighter hope and a greater Love for a hurting and dying world. Their powerful music and passionately real lyrics are produced by their faith in Jesus Christ, the Creator and Redeemer.
Severely Yours, formerly One Way, hails from North Carolina and has spent the past six years touring much of the United States and Canada, leading in worship and rocking along side many great artists. They have taken their experiences, joys, struggles, trials, and hundreds of concerts over those years to form a band and sound that would be something fresh and unique.
Severely Yours recently spent time in the studio with the mastermind producer and engineer, Jamie King (Beloved, Between the Buried and Me, Glass Casket, and He is Legend). The band is extremely excited to finally put out the songs they recorded with Jamie. Each song tells a story of brokenness being replaced with promise. The song “Kneed,” in particular, has become the band’s “single.” The whole premise of the song is the idea that when faced with hard times, people can turn to God to help them through.
Whether leading others into passionate, real worship or rocking their original music, they want people to know that there is hope and life available through Christ in this severe and dying world. They do not boast in being the most perfect or best band that exists, but desire to be a light in this dark world.
And on the Second Stage: Flowers for Faye, Greystone Chapel, Wake the Fallen, Written in Red, Jon Lloyd Band, Runaway City, Crimson Refuge, and Philmont!
