If you want a Behind the Music band story reveled this is it....The band was origanally formed in 2003. The name was different as well(Ambience). When the band was formed its members included Tera White, Adam gish, Jason Spicer and Steven Polly. The band was in need of a bassist. Friend of the band Benji Duvall from LTC suggested a guy by the name of Wes midkiff. From there they had a bass player. Months later, Steven decides to quit the band. In search of another lead guitarist they stumble upon old high school friend Bill Bartlett. One kick ass guitarist. The missing piece was found. As the band began to do shows around the area the sound was getting out. A year or so had gone by and the band was doing well but it was about to take a bad turn. Vocalist Tera White had to leave the band for personnal reasons. Again, this put the band behind scedule. Back to square one they had to find a new vocalist. Upon seaching the net they find a site by the name of Bandmix.com. As a joke they check it out. From there they find new Vocalist Alex Roxbury. From the first practice they new his voice is what they had been missing. At this point the band takes a turn towards the new found sound of this band Severence. Taking them to changing the name, sound, and perspective of this new band. As they write new material the sound of metal with ther own melodic feel comes from this band. The band pushes and becomes more determined than ever. Playing shows on top of shows The name Severence arises. Now close too a year ago the band losses another member due to health issues. This time it was an original member. Wes Midkiff, the bassist. They couldnt let this hold them back because they were determined to spread there music. As there luck would have it, they find new bassist Jamie Evans, another high school friend. The band Severence is now once again Full Throttle and pushing the sound of metal in your face and will continue to do so no matter what challenges they may face. SEVERENCE will keep kicking your ass!
