The members of SEVERUS come from many different backgrounds, both musically and personally. In or around 1998 the founding members of this band got together to form a jam band, later colaborating with new members, to create SEVERUS. The current formation of SEVERUS was established in late 2002.
SEVERUS' music comes purely from the heart, from a band not of "rock stars", but of real, talented musicians. To put in as few words as possible, This band has a message to give, and will make damn sure it's heard.
SEVERUS' fans are of the loyalest. SEVERUS has built a reputation of being honest and loyal to their fans as well. Thus, bringing a togetherness, as though they had built their own SEVERUS family.
During a SEVERUS show, fans will participate in any way possible; be it in the mosh pit - which has a reputation of it's own, banging their heads, or screaming along with the words of the song, the energy of the band could only be surpassed by that of the crowd.
Guaranteed no matter how much or little someone knows about SEVERUS, by the end of the night they will be left wanting to hear more; to be part of the beautifully chaotic world that this band creates for them, if only for a few moments.
